In New Delhi on Wednesday, the world’s cheapest Ringing Bells Freedom 251 smartphone was launched.
It is a 3G smartphone with features similar to entry level smartphones, which rate is about Rs 5,000. This smartphone was launched by BJP leader Murli Manohar Joshi. The bookings of this smartphone will start from Thursday 18 February and go on till 22 February 2016. The Noida-based company announced that the delivery of phone will finish by 30th June. Ringing Bells will charge extra Rs 40 in order to deliver the product; therefore the total rate of the Ringing Bells Freedom 251 is Rs 291.

“The Freedom 251 phone will be manufactured in Uttaranchal and Noida. With a capacity of five lakhs smartphones, the two plants will be set up for Rs 250 crore each. The fund will arrive in the form of debt and equity,” he added.
